Getting to know us

In 2007, Ms. Stern started working as an attorney at the Law Office of Alan J. Stern PC, and in 2009, she began as a partner at Stern Law Firm, where she continues to practice to this day. She attributes her success to focus and knowing her priorities. She has enjoyed learning and embracing challenges over the course of her career, and has been recognized for her achievements with multiple awards. In 2006, Ms. Stern received the Advanced Trial Advocacy Award from Hofstra University, and in 2017, she was named to the Outstanding Women in Law by the university. She is listed as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, and Super Lawyers listed her in the Top Women Attorneys in New York. In addition to her professional successes, Ms. Stern serves her community with pro bono work and volunteers for United Cerebral Palsy.

While attending Hofstra Law School, Ms. Stern earned special recognition in several areas of concentration, such as Civil Litigation and Family Law. In the study of trial advocacy, she was outstanding among her peers and received the Advanced Trial Advocacy Award. In addition to her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University Law School, Ms. Stern holds a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University.

Our initial confidential conversation about your case is free of charge or obligation. We only charge a fee at the end of the case when we recover an award or settlement for you. Our fees are based on a percentage of the recovery as set by law and your only other responsibility is for the shared expenses disbursed (doctor reports, court fees, experts, etc) which in most cases are advanced by us during the case and deducted off the top of the recovery at the conclusion of the lawsuit.
